      What does a Driver’s Medical involve?

      • Before your appointment you will have to perform your eyesight medical at your local opticians.
      • The first part is an interview in which the doctor and candidate discuss any existing medical conditions that may interfere with safe driving.
      • The second part of the medical is an actual physical examination in which the doctor will check the candidate’s vital signs, vision, etc.
      • You will be required to give a urine sample to the doctor this is to check for diabetes.
